Role Overview: In the capacity of the Logistics and Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee supply chain functions within Great Britain, ensuring seamless operations and strategic procurement in the area. Reporting directly to the Procurement Director for Great Britain, you will be an integral member of the Freight & Logistics Procurement team, focusing on the region while contributing to wider Indirect Sourcing strategies across Central Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee road transportation for finished goods in both cold and ambient environments.
- Enhance warehousing strategies.
- Lead supply chain initiatives including pallet sourcing and targeted development projects.
- Ensure effective logistics for bulk potato distribution.
Requirements:
- Experience in Warehouse & Logistics Procurement within a dynamic FMCG environment.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Technologically adept with a focus on customer and data-driven approaches.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Location: This position is based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
