Department Overview:

The Regulatory Affairs team is tasked with overseeing engagement with regulatory stakeholders, shaping the organization's regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

This position encompasses the following essential functions:

  • Facilitate interactions within governance groups to support decision-making processes, including planning, risk management, and change oversight.
  • Assist Subject Matter Experts in engaging and influencing regulatory stakeholders to align with broader business strategies.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of regulatory stakeholders and their key individuals to effectively shape discussions in targeted areas.
  • Organize and manage key stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Keep senior leadership informed of significant stakeholder developments and emerging trends, including providing briefings for high-level meetings.

What You Will Be Doing:

Oversee engagements with government entities and regulators, influencing regulatory decision-making in collaboration with internal teams.

Establish strong working relationships and coordinate with key internal stakeholders to ensure well-supported and persuasive communication of viewpoints.

Implement strategies for information sharing to enhance stakeholder intelligence and ensure consistent messaging.

Conduct horizon scanning to collaborate with government and regulatory bodies, understanding their priorities for system improvements and new policy initiatives, while providing insights to senior management on potential impacts.

Identify and escalate significant issues arising from regulatory interactions, collaborating with relevant internal teams and management.

Qualifications:

A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

A proven history of building relationships and collaborating across diverse organizations.

Exceptional facilitation and organizational skills, with experience engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Capability to prioritize effectively amidst competing demands.

Experience in supporting subject matter experts in communicating complex issues clearly and concisely.

Proven experience in navigating complex environments with multiple stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience in major government projects is desirable.
