Project Director - Water Treatment

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our Water Treatment team in delivering a major project in St Austell. The successful candidate will report directly to the Framework Director and be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute project activities to ensure consistency with company strategy and within the tender estimate.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all personnel involved in the project.
  • Maintain good customer satisfaction and promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards.
  • Implement the BMS throughout the project delivery process.
  • Manage relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.
  • Ensure sufficient trained personnel are available for the project.
  • Plan and monitor project delivery, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan.
  • Manage commercial aspects of the project, including forecasting and estimating.
  • Implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Targets.
  • Have a detailed working knowledge of project management practices and stay current on industry changes and innovations.
Requirements:
  • Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering related discipline.
  • Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.
  • Chartered with an engineering, commercial, or construction institution.
  • NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
Desirable Skills:
  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
  • Experience in water and waste water treatment plants.
  • Contract Management.
