Humanities Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Humanities Teaching Assistant to join our exceptional support and teaching team at a supportive and inclusive Secondary School based in the Borough of Kingston.

This role involves working closely with the Humanities Department and providing support to students through KS3, KS4, and KS5. As a Humanities Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience that will be a great asset to your teaching career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in Humanities lessons
  • Assisting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working in a fantastic Secondary School in Kingston
  • Opportunities for Teacher Training
  • £105 - £110 a day
  • Monday - Friday only
  • Term-Time role
  • Long-Term, Full-Time

Requirements:

  • A graduate with strong academics such as a 1st Class or 2:1
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with young people with SEND/SEMH needs
