About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Electronic Security Installation Engineer to join our team at BHP Alarms Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning fire and security systems, including audible and remote signaling fire and intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission fire and security systems to a high standard
  • Work with a qualified engineer or as part of a team to complete installations
  • Provide demonstrations and handover to end users
  • Complete commissioning documentation and mark up as-fitted drawings

Requirements

  • Good communication skills
  • Honesty and trustworthiness
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to work
  • Ability to maintain high standards and work within a team
  • Ability to get to our office each morning on time

Training and Development

This is a modern apprenticeship, so you will receive on-the-job training with us, as well as attend day release at college after your first 12 months of in-house training.

We have regular engineer meetings and toolbox talks, as well as internal and industry training programs to help you develop your skills.
