Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced EU/UK qualified solicitor to join our team at G2 Legal as a Senior Legal Counsel - Content Regulatory Expert. This is a 12-month maternity cover position that will provide support to our growing Trust and Safety organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on laws and regulations related to content and safety, including the Digital Services in the EU, with a focus on implementation and ongoing compliance.
  • Support the Trust and Safety organization by advising on content moderation issues, content policies, and user safety-related legal matters across the EMEA region.
  • Assist with regulatory engagement in conjunction with the Government Relations team.
  • Closely collaborate and coordinate with the Litigation team and product, public policy, and communications teams on regulatory and policy strategies, external communication, and investigations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years PQE as an EU/UK qualified solicitor, ideally with a focus on content regulation, safety, and compliance.
  • Background in the technology sector.
