Job Summary:STS Technical Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our high-profile bespoke aircraft modification programme, you will be responsible for major structural disassembly, modification, and rebuild of Boeing 737 NG aircraft into the E-7 Wedgetail.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth structural analysis and modification of aircraft components.
  • Work with fine tolerances and high standards to ensure quality and safety.
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping and adhere to company and manufacturer procedures.
  • Implement modifications from drawings and procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Completed aircraft engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in live aircraft and/or production (structures) environment.
  • Proven experience in implementing large modifications and excellent knowledge of reading manufacturers' drawings and SRMs.
  • Excellent hand skills, reliability, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Eligibility to work and live in the UK and subject to UK security vetting.
