Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ground Investigation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Ground Investigations, logging soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2020, and managing site works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Ground Investigations and ensure they are completed to the highest standard.
  • Log soil and rock samples in accordance with BS5930:2020.
  • Manage site works, including dealing with suppliers and preparing health and safety documentation.
  • Write factual reports and process data.
  • Assist senior staff with project-related duties.
  • Oversee department equipment, including allocation, hire, servicing, and repair.
  • Travel and attend meetings as required.
  • Liaise with clients and ensure excellent communication.

Requirements:

  • BSc degree level qualified in Geology or a related subject.
  • Understanding of laboratory testing and working knowledge of geotechnical and environmental guidance, BS10175.
  • Full valid UK driving license.
