Abbott Diabetes Care, a world leader in blood glucose monitoring, is seeking a talented C# Software Developer to join our growing team in Witney.

We design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge glucose monitoring systems used both at home and in hospitals. Our Operations Systems Engineering team plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing and testing of our Libre Continuous Glucose Monitoring sensor and Blood Glucose Measurement strips.

As part of this dynamic team, you will contribute to developing software solutions that drive efficiency and quality within our highly regulated environment.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders and product owners to define technical requirements for software development projects.
  • Design, develop, and implement robust C# software solutions in alignment with established priorities.
  • Manage and prioritize the Dev Ops sprint backlog, ensuring efficient workflow within an Agile SCRUM framework.
  • Actively participate in all SCRUM ceremonies, contributing to a collaborative and transparent development process.
  • Work alongside fellow engineers to manage the Business As Usual backlog, addressing ongoing software maintenance and enhancements.
About You:

You are a passionate C# developer with a strong foundation in software engineering principles. Your enthusiasm for delivering high-quality, well-organized code within a Test Driven Development methodology is evident in your work. Experience in developing software solutions within a Medical Device or similarly regulated environment is highly desirable.
