Qualifications and Registration
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid HCPC Registration
- BSc or equivalent qualification in Radiography
Preferred Qualifications
- Participation in relevant training days and courses.
Experience and Knowledge
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience in A&E, theatre, and out-of-hours services
- Comprehensive understanding of general radiography and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in mentoring and training students and new staff members
Skills and Competencies
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to instruct and guide others
- Capacity to perform under pressure
- Proactive and able to take initiative
- Understanding of teamwork dynamics
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance (QA) testing
- RPS Training
- Membership in imaging groups such as TIG, GIRSIG, or the Association of Paediatric Radiographers
- Affiliation with a relevant specialist organization
