Qualifications and Registration

Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience in A&E, theatre, and out-of-hours services
  • Comprehensive understanding of general radiography and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in mentoring and training students and new staff members

Skills and Competencies

Mandatory Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to instruct and guide others
  • Capacity to perform under pressure
  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Understanding of teamwork dynamics

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance (QA) testing
  • RPS Training
  • Membership in imaging groups such as TIG, GIRSIG, or the Association of Paediatric Radiographers
  • Affiliation with a relevant specialist organization
