This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and commercially-minded motor insurance claims procurement professional to join the UKGI Claims Supply Chain team at Aviva.
The purpose of the role is to maximise value through the end-to-end commercial management of Aviva's motor claims supply chain. You will apply appropriate commercial, contractual, supplier relationship management, regulatory, risk management and category management skills, tools and techniques to drive value for money through the identification and delivery of new initiatives.
You will need to combine knowledge of the markets with a deep understanding of the business requirements to plan and implement sourcing and supply chain strategies. This will involve working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver commercial and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximise value from the motor claims supply chain
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Identify and deliver new initiatives to drive value for money and improve operational efficiency
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective sourcing and supply chain strategies
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure commercial and operational excellence
- Procurement background and a knowledge of GI Motor Claims Procurement/Supply Chain or Financial Services essential
- Commercial and stakeholder management skills and proven track record of building strong internal business and supplier relationships
- Change management expertise and strong leadership skills with a proven track record of optimising strategy and delivering Commercial, SRM, or Category Management within a demanding, fast-evolving environment
- MCIPS qualification / educated to business / finance degree level or equivalent preferable
- Starting salary circa £75,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity – 12% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's
