Senior Estates Manager

About the Role
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Estates Officer to join its Estates Management Team at The Royal Hospital site. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to over one million people across Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage, monitor works, and compliance, and lead and manage a team of estates professionals.
- Implement professional management throughout facilities and estate engineering and building operations, including planned maintenance and defect maintenance.
- Support the Estates & Facilities General Manager in the implementation of policy and service development.
- Deputise for the Estate & Facilities General Manager in their absence.
Requirements
- HNC/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or construction.
- Extensive knowledge of highly complex Hospital Technical Memorandums (HTMs).
- Substantial post-qualification experience in Electrical or Mechanical services.
- Understanding of health and safety issues within a healthcare environment.
