Job Title: Therapeutic Deputy Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Therapeutic Deputy Home Manager at The Amicus Community. As a Therapeutic Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality leadership and management to our team, ensuring the well-being and safety of our children.

About the Role:

The Therapeutic Deputy Home Manager will assist the Therapeutic Home Manager in the running of the home, providing on-call support and ensuring a high standard of therapeutic practice and nurture to the children. You will be responsible for leading and managing a staff team, supporting and developing them in their therapeutic practice and understanding and knowledge in the work with the children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Therapeutic Home Manager in the running of the home
  • Provide on-call support
  • Ensure a high standard of therapeutic practice and nurture to the children
  • Lead and manage a staff team
  • Support and develop staff in their therapeutic practice and understanding and knowledge in the work with the children
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' childcare experience
  • Qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare is desirable or alternatively, a willingness to complete this
  • Full UK driving license is essential
