Job Title: Data Quality Lead

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Lead to join our team at NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care System. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data across our systems, and will work closely with our clinical leads and informaticians to identify and address data quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national and local standards.
  • Work with clinical leads and informaticians to identify data quality issues and develop solutions to address them.
  • Collaborate with the Intelligence Centre Programme Board to develop and implement data quality improvement plans.
  • Provide expert advice on data quality and standards to stakeholders across the system.
  • Lead the implementation of data quality processes and policies, and work to ensure they are established and maintained.
  • Work with different staff groups across the system to implement and maintain appropriate data quality standards and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture that values diversity and promotes equality and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in a field such as medical/health statistics, data quality, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role in the NHS or a large complex organisation.
  • Excellent analytical, IT, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team and lead projects.
