Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Operations Manager to join our team at Bolton Council. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our school catering operation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in our service.

As a Catering Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, providing a range of services to our students and staff. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the catering service, ensuring that all aspects of the operation are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the catering operation, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency
  • Monitor and control the catering service, identifying areas for improvement
  • Lead a team of catering staff, providing guidance and support
  • Develop and implement catering policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in catering management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Enhanced DBS check required
