Health and Safety Advisor Opportunity

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join a leading multi-disciplined engineering organisation. This multisite role offers hybrid working with travel across the South UK, covering locations from the South Coast to Milton Keynes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced business that operates globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking operational responsibilities across a multisite portfolio, including reviewing risk assessments and method statements, site inspections and audits, and driving a positive health and safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, experience within Engineering / HVAC / M&E / Mechanical Maintenance / Plant Rooms, and be flexible to travel with occasional overnight stays. They will also be an engaging and communicative individual able to liaise at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and develop risk assessments and method statements
  • Conduct site inspections and audits
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive a positive health and safety culture
  • Prepare and submit health and safety reports
  • Investigate accidents and incidents

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience within Engineering / HVAC / M&E / Mechanical Maintenance / Plant Rooms
  • Flexibility to travel with occasional overnight stays
