About the Role

We are excited to offer a senior position within a prestigious Top 100 Law Firm located in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a celebrated, innovative, and supportive legal practice that specializes in providing expert legal counsel for Personal, Serious, and Catastrophic Injury cases, as well as Clinical Negligence. The firm is well-regarded in the region for its exemplary client service and high-caliber work.

As part of the firm's growth and enhancement of its commercial services, we are looking for a Senior Catastrophic Injury Lawyer. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience, including a solid history of managing Serious Injury cases, particularly litigated multi-track matters.

The successful applicant will be expected to operate independently, handling a complex and varied caseload. They will oversee a challenging Serious Injury portfolio from initiation to resolution while also mentoring a small team. Additionally, they will ensure that cases progress in accordance with organizational objectives.

The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a background in managing both pre and post-litigated claims (Multi-Track). Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years PQE in Serious / Catastrophic Injury Law
  • Proven experience with a Litigated caseload
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work autonomously
  • Strong legal acumen and leadership capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding client service abilities
  • Professional and effective communication skills with colleagues and clients
