Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Apprentice Sales Engineer to join our team. As an Apprentice Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing quotations for customers, providing technical support, and finding new opportunities to increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare quotations for customers and provide technical support via Microsoft Teams, telephone, and email.
  2. Offer technical solutions to customers and clients on different mechanical engineering products such as valves and pipes.
  3. Find new opportunities to increase sales with new and existing customers.
  4. Work towards KPI's and sales targets whilst maintaining accurate information on a CRM system.
  5. Develop strong relationships with clients and attend client visits to follow up on orders.
  6. Create documentation and guidance for clients that is clear and easy to understand.
  7. Produce regular reports for the Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience as an Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative / Senior Sales Engineer / Inside Sales Engineer or similar.
  2. An engineering qualification such as a BEng / HND / HNC or similar in Mechanical Engineering / Automation Engineering or a similar discipline within engineering.
  3. Candidates who do not hold one of these qualifications but have relevant experience in a sales position will also be considered.
