This position offers an excellent chance for a dedicated HLTA to engage in a long-term commitment, contributing significantly to the educational growth of students while collaborating with a vibrant team of educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support and interventions for students across various subject areas.
- Facilitate group activities in essential curriculum subjects including Phonics, Reading, Mathematics, and Writing.
- Provide one-on-one assistance for learning and developmental tasks.
- Prepare educational resources and organize learning environments.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Support daily routines and activities for students.
- Engage with students in a variety of learning and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Position Details:
- Role: Advanced Teaching Support Assistant
- Employment Type: Full-time, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience in a UK primary educational setting.
- Qualifications in Early Years, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (minimum Level 2), Education Studies Degree, Psychology Degree, or a related field.
- Current Safeguarding and Prevent training completed within the last year; free online training is available through Prospero if required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must possess the Right to Work in the UK.
- Must have an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new one.
- Must provide two professional references covering the last two years.
