Wellbeing Support Assistant

Castle Retirement Village, located in Berkhamstead, is seeking a Wellbeing Assistant to provide support during holidays and sickness periods.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to emergency calls within the village.
- Assess emergencies and provide appropriate assistance.
- Administer first aid and basic medical care when necessary.
- Coordinate with emergency services as required.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
- Provide moral and emotional support to residents.
- Proven experience as an emergency responder, EMT, or similar role preferred.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid required.
- Educated to NVQ Level 3.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents.
- Physical ability to respond quickly to emergencies and assist residents as needed.
