Intersect Global Ltd is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Manager to join their team in the civil engineering sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards of the company's projects are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and minimize risks
- Provide HSEQ advice to site teams and promote occupational health
- Carry out tool box talks and ensure site supervisors follow protocol
- Form collaborative relationships with Client HSEQ Management
- Support and complete investigation reviews for HSE investigations
- Monitor HSEQ Advisor inspections and ensure findings are closed out in a timely manner
- Agree monthly inspection targets and monitor compliance
- NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent CSCS Safety Professional card
- Extensive HSEQ experience within a civil engineering environment, with experience in the water sector being beneficial
- Sound knowledge of deep drainage and water-related experience is desirable
- Sound knowledge of quality controls associated with company work activities
- Analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations
- High standard of written English and good communication skills
- Excellent use of MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation and report writing skills
