Job Description

Rac Distributors Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Route Sales Representative to join our team as an Independent Distributor. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and distributing some of the snacking industry's most iconic brands to retail stores across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail store managers, from convenience stores to large mass merchants.
  • Sales Growth: Grow weekly sales by building existing customer relationships and securing new ones.
  • Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate and sell additional locations, space, displays, and products to increase revenue.
  • Product Delivery: Deliver premium products to customers on time and in good condition.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish shelves due to prior day's sales and add more locations and displays as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete invoicing, respond to billing questions, and review contests and sales and marketing promotions.
  • Order Management: Place orders, review new products, and forecast product needs based on promotions.
  • Sales Support: Utilize optional sales support, business planning, and actionable ways to grow your premium distribution business.
  • Business Meetings: Attend optional business meetings for education purposes and to learn about upcoming promotions.
Requirements
  • Background: Outside sales rep, account manager, account executive, retail manager, store manager, sales and marketing, food or distribution experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
  • Transportation: Ability to secure reliable, food distribution vehicle transportation (Business resource referrals available).
