We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Aberbeeg, a low secure service for men. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our service users, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist catering staff with meal preparation and cooking, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Serve food and beverages to service users, staff, and visitors in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Ensure all areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly, adhering to operational hygiene standards.
  • Liaise with the wider team, including dietitians, to ensure dietary and planned meals are met.
Requirements
  • Relevant catering qualification (desirable)
  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
