As a key member of our driving division, you will be responsible for conducting daily and weekly pre-journey safety checks, ensuring the truck remains in a safe and roadworthy condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily/weekly pre-journey safety checks to ensure the truck remains in a safe and roadworthy condition.
  • Drive various heavy goods vehicles with a variety of trailers depending on the load.
  • Perform internal and external deliveries, depot to depot deliveries/collections.
  • Handle cargo, including strapping loads and trunking work.
  • Assist with trailer swapping and yard shunting/movements.

Requirements:

  • Category C license entitlement (must have held for a minimum of 2 years).
  • 6 months experience driving C+E vehicles.
  • Valid Tacho and DQC cards.
  • Friendly, professional, and dedicated to great customer service.
  • An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to support when needed.
