We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at a local firm. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client care, onboarding new clients, and evaluating tax guidance for clients.

You will also be responsible for completing, reviewing, and preparing bookkeeping and VAT returns, as well as liaising between clients and HM Revenue & Customs to deal with and resolve queries.

Additionally, you will maintain electronic filing of books and records, efficiently manage client administration and records, and engage in tasks necessary to support the smooth running of the office environment.

You will also be responsible for preparing and executing year-end client meetings as required, and ensuring all internal and statutory deadlines are met.

We are looking for an individual who holds membership to a professional body, has at least 2 years accounting practice experience, and has the ability to work well under pressure for both internal and external deadlines.
