Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, you'll be part of our global team, reporting to the Director, Legal. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing vendor contract matters from start to finish, including reviewing and drafting legal documents, negotiating agreements, and managing input from the business and external counsel.
  • Drafting, working on, and negotiating vendor contracts, including software license agreements, subscription as a service agreements, service level agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Assisting and advising vendor management and Legal on opportunities for enhancements to vendor contract review processes and procedures.
  • Responding to legal queries from operational departments, internal control/support groups, client integration/client services teams, senior management, and entity boards.
  • Advising the business on day-to-day legal and regulatory matters across all key jurisdictions of the business and assisting the business with managing legal risk.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience and a valid practicing certificate.
  • Experience in an in-house legal role, ideally with a bank, fund manager, or fund service provider.
