Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our transport division at head office located at our facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing our fleet of vehicles to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults in HGVs
  • Maintain and service vehicles to MOT standards
  • Ensure vehicle cleaning requirements are met before MOT service
  • Repair defects and perform general garage duties
  • Deal with breakdowns nationwide

Requirements

  • Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVs
  • Class 1 licence is desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
