CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced gas engineer to join our team on a mobile basis. This role will cover the Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness & Perth region, carrying out maintenance and repair tasks for commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the necessary paperwork and reports.
- Perform reactive and planned commercial maintenance tasks.
- Conduct maintenance and repair work, including fabric and basic electrical tasks, as required under contract.
- Ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are completed within the required timescales.
- Verify that all certification is correctly completed and remedial works are clearly identified.
- Respond to reactive and emergency tasks and utilize handheld technology effectively.
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide clients with full out-of-hours cover and assist other team members when required or as directed by a Supervisor or Contract Manager.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted within the designated timescales.
- Monitor visiting sub-contractors regarding the standard of work and Health and Safety, and issue appropriate Permits as required.
- Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
- Commercial Gas Safe qualifications, COCN1/CODNCO1 minimum.
- Good commercial gas maintenance knowledge.
- Extensive experience working within commercial environments.
- Experience in maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on various equipment, including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power, and lighting.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
- Basic Salary up to £46,000.
- Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 17.00.
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
