Spinwell Global Limited is seeking a Procurement Governance Officer for a remarkable opportunity within the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROCUREMENT GOVERNANCE OFFICER

  • Facilitate organizational change and advocate for best practices by engaging in reviews of Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes and systems, ensuring compliance, delivering training, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Oversee and maintain SCM data, including electronic purchasing systems, supplier contracts, and activity logs.
  • Develop, deliver, analyze, and provide commentary on both standard and customized reports to generate performance metrics, dashboards, and support governance reviews and audits.
  • Conduct presentations and training sessions for users and stakeholders to enhance understanding of the supply chain function and ensure compliance.
  • Manage SCM-related risks pertinent to the role.
  • Administer the SCM budget and workforce, contributing to annual cost forecasts.
  • Gather and synthesize internal and external feedback on the Supply Chain Function to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and ensure the utilization of a thoroughly evaluated and approved supplier base.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to expedite the resolution of inquiries.
  • Proactively pursue learning and development opportunities.
  • Consistently exhibit positive behaviors aligned with the company's standards for environmental sustainability, safety, health, security, quality, and ethics.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE PROCUREMENT GOVERNANCE OFFICER

  • Proven experience in establishing and managing a governance and compliance service for strategic procurement activities.
  • Familiarity with governance processes in a procurement or commercial setting.
  • Experience in handling complex and high-value procurement projects.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Background in implementing business change and continuous improvement programs.
  • Skills in organizing, planning, and effectively executing projects and tasks.
  • Knowledge of information security and governance principles.
  • In-depth understanding of PCR 2015.
  • CIPS Level 4 certification is desirable.
