Position Overview
As a Strategic Procurement Lead, you will spearhead the execution of sourcing category initiatives and associated supplier management efforts. Your role will involve forging robust collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders to influence organizational priorities while gaining insights into emerging trends and requirements. You will oversee all activities in accordance with relevant corporate policies and within the defined risk framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a vital member of the Customer Sourcing category team focusing on Insurance, Pensions & Investments, and Motor, collaborating with a team of sourcing professionals to enhance the category vision and objectives.
- Assist our Insurance, Pensions & Investments teams in fulfilling their commercial objectives by implementing effective sourcing strategies aligned with their business needs.
- Cultivate and maintain essential relationships with key partners, promoting innovative commercial thinking by questioning traditional practices to enhance organizational value.
- Keep an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the fund management services category, managing critical supplier relationships to gain early access to new and innovative product developments, thus supporting the Group's transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven sourcing expertise, with experience in contract negotiation and procurement category management, preferably in consumer products.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing sourcing projects in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to effectively communicate, influence, and translate strategic objectives from business clients into actionable sourcing strategies and deliverables.
- Track record of building relationships with key internal stakeholders and serving as a trusted business partner.
- A positive, resilient, and adaptable approach, with a history of success in dynamic settings.
