About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our team at McLarens Global. The ideal candidate will be based in London and have a strong understanding of subsidence losses and loss adjusting principles.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of subsidence losses, undertaking initial visits, and handling claims through to conclusion. This will involve monitoring and engaging surveyors/consultants, ensuring company standards are met in relation to technical and operational policies and procedures.

The role will require strong negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing subsidence losses and a strong understanding of the insurance industry.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Professional qualifications in building surveying or a related field
  • Significant experience in loss adjusting or a related field
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven track record of managing subsidence losses
