  • Security Gap Identification: Identify security gaps and integrate appropriate tools within development processes to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Agile Frameworks: Work within agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum) to deliver security solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Training and Documentation: Train teams on core security products and create accessible documentation to ensure that security best practices are understood and implemented across the organization.
  • Security Promotion: Promote security best practices and develop automated monitoring systems to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Secure-by-Default Practices: Help establish secure-by-default practices for engineering teams to ensure that security is integrated into every aspect of our development process.

Core Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Linux Administration: Strong Linux administration skills and knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Operational and Troubleshooting Expertise: Operational and troubleshooting expertise to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • SDLC Knowledge: Understanding of SDLC and tools like JIRA, Git, and Nexus.
  • Security Frameworks: Familiarity with security frameworks like OWASP Top 10 and CVSS.
