About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Safety Case Developer to join our client's growing team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a key member of the Site Safety Case Team, you will be responsible for providing authoritative advice, guidance, mentoring, and coaching to safety case specialists to develop and maintain an effective safety case capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior SME for safety case development, ensuring that the Site Safety Case Team undertakes all activities in a manner consistent with Company Policy, Business Processes, and the Quality Assurance programme.
  • Develop and maintain an effective safety case capability, providing guidance and support to safety case specialists as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with UK nuclear legislation, nuclear industry, site licensing, authorisation, and environmental permitting, as well as associated industry guidance.

Requirements

  • Degree in a STEM subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive knowledge of the techniques and methodology used in the development of safety cases that meet relevant good practice
