Job Title: Depot Manager

Menzies Distribution is seeking an experienced Depot Manager to oversee the daily operations of two busy depots in Knowsley and Oldham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of depot activities, achieving KPI targets, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control all aspects of depot operations, including staff development and training.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve depot efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including health and safety, driver's hours, and maintenance schedules.
  • Lead and motivate a team of depot staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze operational and financial performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a depot management or logistics role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
  • Previous experience of managing a budget and controlling costs.
  • CPC holder (International) and 'Right To Work' in the UK.
