Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a LGV vehicle on a 4on 4off rota, delivering goods to our customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations
  • Attending regular training sessions

Requirements:

  • Must have a UK Class 1 CE Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of Fridge trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
