As part of the NHS framework, NWAS Fleet Operations plays a crucial role in supporting our extensive ambulance fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Our technicians benefit from a robust management structure, ensuring all resources are available to optimize vehicle throughput and minimize delays.

With a diverse fleet of over 1150 vehicles, each day presents unique challenges and the chance to collaborate with fellow professionals.

Additional compensation is available for weekend shifts.

Our workshops operate year-round, with service hours extending until 16:00 from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications and Education

Essential

City and Guilds certification in motor vehicle technology or NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications. Valid Driving Licence. Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Desirable

Driving Licence C1 + D1 (working towards). MOT Tester certification.

Skills and Abilities
