Senior Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Senior Planner to join a prominent construction main contractor. This is a permanent position that offers the chance to work on a diverse range of exciting new projects.

As a Senior Planner, you will take charge of the planning function for medium to large-scale and intricate tenders and sites. Your role will involve conducting thorough analyses of project data and providing direction to fellow planning team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine critical success factors for projects and relay them to the team
  • Evaluate and validate suppliers' and subcontractors' schedules and methodologies
  • Create pre-construction, design, and procurement timelines with appropriate guidance
  • Collaborate with the temporary works coordinator on temporary works requirements
  • Track project advancement against timelines and compile reports
  • Support project management reporting and planning efforts
  • Revise project schedules in line with contractual obligations
  • Analyze the effects of changes on project timelines
  • Synchronize work planning with financial flow needs

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner with a track record in managing projects valued between £5m-£30m. Candidates should possess an HNC or a relevant qualification in Construction and hold a valid driving license.
