Etive House Care Home is seeking to hire a Culinary Support Staff member to join our upscale, purpose-designed care facility.
Situated in a picturesque location, we provide intimate group living accommodations for a maximum of 62 residents.
This establishment upholds exceptional standards of residential, dementia, and respite care.
As a Culinary Support Staff member, your role will involve assisting in the preparation and service of high-quality meals and beverages while ensuring a clean and safe environment for food production.
Culinary Support Staff Contract
- £11.44 per hour
- 22 hours per week
- Pension benefits
- 5.6 weeks of annual leave
- Uniform provided
- Onsite parking available
Key Responsibilities - Perform tasks within the kitchen area according to the work schedule, including:
- Assisting in food preparation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, equipment, and appliances.
- Receiving, inspecting, and securely storing kitchen deliveries.
- Understanding and applying safe food handling practices.
- Implementing cleaning protocols for various surfaces and equipment.
- Ensuring that all areas are well-presented and kept in good condition.
- Practicing safe work systems across a variety of tasks.
- Acknowledging personal responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety at Work regulations.
- Acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Communicating with the management team regarding the supply and quality of items necessary for task completion.
- Ensuring the safe and organized storage of supplies and equipment relevant to your duties.
- Taking responsibility to read, comprehend, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
