About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner at The Deans Primary School. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the school premises, including classrooms, corridors, and common areas
  • Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners as needed
  • Restock supplies and materials in designated areas
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and buffers
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
