Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Team Manager to join our team at Yodel. As a key member of our Transport Team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Transport Admin Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative processes, including driver schedules and vehicle management, to ensure compliance with driving legislations.
  • Ensure delivery schedules are achieved by coordinating with drivers and other team members.
  • Provide administrative support, including tracking driver hours and absence, and ensuring cover is in place.
  • Manage the scheduling system to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and report on operational and customer service key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role in the Transport sector, preferably in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers and other team members.
  • Good understanding of driving legislation, including operators licensing and WTD.
  • CPC qualification is desirable but not essential.
