Join our team at Thames Water as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and embark on a rewarding career in quantity surveying. As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of suppliers on a large repair & maintenance utilities framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile suppliers' Applications for Payment with site records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify measurements of works carried out using site record photos to ensure correct contract rates and measurement rules are applied.
  • Process a high volume of low-value jobs, identifying and investigating commercial risks and quality findings.
  • Maintain effective communication with line managers and team members to ensure risks and opportunities are raised early.
Requirements:
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have strong numeracy skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and able to pick up multiple IT systems and software.
  • Work independently and have excellent time management skills.

  • A competitive salary between £28,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
