About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Müller UK & Ireland's Market Drayton Dairy. As a key member of our engineering function, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime
  • Conduct planned maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Investigate and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our manufacturing processes and equipment
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a multi-skilled department maintaining fast-moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices
  • Apprentice-trained with experience working on fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs
  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques and principles
  • Strong team building skills and ability to work cross-functionally
