Operating on a day shift from Monday to Friday, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager, undertaking maintenance responsibilities for manufacturing and plant machinery.


Work Environment: In a dynamic manufacturing setting, you will be an adept maintenance technician with expertise in both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance.


Key Qualifications: The client welcomes candidates with a specialization in either Electrical or Mechanical fields; however, a multi-skilled background is crucial, along with a fundamental understanding of Electrical systems.


Core Duties: You will be tasked with performing regular routine and emergency maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical equipment, with most breakdowns requiring a multi-skilled approach.


Essential Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, including transformers, motors, and various motor control systems, as well as PLC troubleshooting.
  • Repair and maintain manufacturing equipment for all Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical failures.
  • Experience with machine HMIs, PLCs, and diagnostics is advantageous.
  • Developing and executing planned maintenance strategies.


Personal Attributes:

  • A flexible, adaptable, and self-driven individual.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline or possession of HNC/HND qualifications.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
