We are seeking an experienced R&D Tax Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our R&D Tax team, you will be responsible for providing bespoke advice on innovation incentives and preparing client submissions.
Key Responsibilities:- Work on a broad range of client projects, developing client relationships, project management, and advisory skills.
- Manage the delivery of advice to partners/directors for approval, balancing reviewing junior resources' output and preparing client reports.
- Get full exposure to client-facing communication and working on projects from initial engagement to submission of claims and defence under HMRC enquiry.
- Play a key role in developing peers and junior colleagues, both technically and professionally.
- Client-focused with a solid knowledge base and experience of R&D tax relief and Corporation Tax compliance procedures.
- Extensive written and verbal communication, detailed data analysis, and complex financial calculations.
- Ability to manage a project portfolio, work collaboratively, and be goal-oriented.
- Science or technology background, ability to understand and communicate technical concepts, and advanced Excel and Word skills.
This is a client-facing role, engaging with clients' technical and financial leadership. Acting within a regulated professional services environment, you should be committed to delivering high-quality service and advice, adhering to policies and processes.
