About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join our team at Redland Nursery, part of YMCA Brunel Group (Bath). As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing a secure, caring, and comfortable environment that nurtures the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of a high-quality early years education, ensuring the needs of all children are met.
  • Liaise with families, colleagues, and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Qualified L3 Early Years Educator with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the nursery.
  • Commitment to equality and diversity, with a shared understanding of the importance of inclusive practice.

Location and Hours

The position is located in our Redland Nursery, Chippenham, and the hours of work are 37.5 per week between 8am-5pm.
