Key Responsibilities:

Performing comprehensive economic research to assess market dimensions and the competitive landscape in Canada, presenting insights in a structured data format for in-depth analysis. Building and nurturing relationships with industry professionals in Canada to facilitate trade discussions, capture market dynamics, and ensure the precision of deliverables. Gaining a deep understanding of Canada's retail distribution frameworks and applying analytical expertise to evaluate all outputs, generating actionable market intelligence and forecasts. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to disseminate industry insights and enhance operational proficiency within the organization.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in Canada: A minimum of 3 years of residency in Canada is required, along with a solid grasp of its business environment. Familiarity with fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) markets and retail structures in Canada is advantageous.

Analytical Proficiency: You possess outstanding analytical capabilities and a keen eye for detail. You are driven to engage with quantitative data and have the skill to interpret diverse information sources to craft compelling narratives. Proficiency in written English analysis and a strong command of Excel are essential.

Collaborative Mindset: You exhibit strong interpersonal skills to cultivate a professional network in Canada and are comfortable conducting interviews via telephone or video conferencing regularly. Previous experience in outbound communication for sales, research, or customer service is a plus. You are eager to work collaboratively across teams, actively sharing discoveries and expertise. Self-Motivated: You take initiative in problem-solving and identifying opportunities, demonstrating a willingness to take ownership of assigned projects. You can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines.
