About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Infrastructure Lead to join our IT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our network infrastructure, supporting critical healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Design & Implementation: Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable network solutions, encompassing LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
  • Security Management: Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard our network infrastructure against cyber threats.
  • Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Collaborate closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to develop and maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the organization's IT systems.
  • Documentation & Standards: Ensure that all relevant documentation, including functional specifications, change control details, and network diagrams, is maintained accurately and readily accessible to colleagues.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage a team of Network Technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in network infrastructure management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in configuring and managing Cisco switching technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and protocols.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent qualification.
