Senior Project Scheduler

We are Uniper, a leading energy company, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Scheduler to join our team. As a Senior Project Scheduler, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of our energy asset projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules, including logic-linked and cost-loaded schedules.
  • Prepare and track schedules, taking into account all project phases, from engineering to commissioning and handover.
  • Monitor progress, report, and identify schedule risks, reviewing project milestones and developing corrective actions.
  • Use scheduling and schedule risk software, such as Primavera P6 and MS Project, to support resource planning and identify resource needs.
  • Work with the project team, suppliers, and contractors to obtain necessary information to maintain project schedules.
  • Analyze contractor schedules, assisting site teams in creating weekly lookahead schedules and monitoring construction progress.
  • Assess critical paths and constraints to determine the effect of changes on the schedule, identifying possible workarounds to mitigate impacts.
  • Monitor schedule progress and performance to identify and escalate developing problem areas.

Requirements:

  • Academic qualification in science or engineering, with chartership or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience of project scheduling on energy asset projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques, methods, and application of schedule control tools.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex topics succinctly.
  • Self-assured and clear communication skills in an international environment, with the ability to exert effective influence at all levels.
