Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammographer to join our team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of our Breast Imaging Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mammography services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality mammography as part of the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP) in the Breast Imaging Department at QAH and on the Mobile Breast Screening Unit.
  • Conduct mammography of symptomatic and surveillance patients and moderate risk family history patients under direct/indirect supervision (whilst training).
  • Use professional discretion and experience to ensure that clinical practice is carried out correctly, professionally, and within the legal framework.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
