The Electrical Maintenance Engineers work in a structured shift pattern and are tasked with effectively maintaining all process and auxiliary equipment, focusing on minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role include supporting operational teams by executing necessary repairs, leading preventive maintenance initiatives, and promoting engineering solutions for process enhancements to ensure operational availability and productivity goals are met.

Additional responsibilities will encompass:

  • Documenting and reporting maintenance and repair activities using the appropriate management systems
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of processes that align with health and safety management standards
  • Utilizing the planned maintenance system to raise work orders for any non-conformities observed and suggesting corrective actions
  • Collaborating with the Engineering team to identify root causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence
  • Maintaining clear and detailed records to identify trends and necessary corrective actions

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess at least an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical discipline or have completed a recognized apprenticeship.

Applicants should demonstrate a solid electrical background and a proven track record. The successful candidate will work as part of a cohesive team and must be well-versed in current health and safety regulations.

Experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting within an industrial environment is essential, along with the ability to adapt to new technologies. Flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow are crucial attributes.
